The triumphant team

Now that's what you call pedal power!

The impressive cycling team, who made their way from London to Brighton in time for this year's IRLA Congress, have raised an absolutely incredible £15,000 for our charity of the year.

Monies from their JustGiving sub page, the main page, and additional contributions from IRLA itself, the Zurich Community Trust and Simon Barnes / ZLS, mean they've met the sum of £15k for Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Organised by Chirag Shah, this year's activity included those who had participated previously, as well as those who jumped into the saddle for the first ride of such a duration.

They were supported by the trio of Aimee, Leann, and Christine, who kept them hydrated, motivated and fuelled throughout.

Additional fun prizes (Coveted ZLS Awards) were presented to:

Warren A from RiverStone for being the fastest up Ditchling Beacon!

He narrowly beat out the competition from Till, Gary, and Matt.

And another award for Archie W, from Enstar, who had the closest call of the day. Thank goodness he escaped unharmed!

For those wishing to see more pics of the ride, you can see them here:

And if you're feeling motivated to take part in a similar ride next year, please get in touch with Chirag.
